Data Analysis Task Example - Head of Year Pastoral - In Tray Interview Practice - Set 2

This resource is a 2nd practice data task for Heads of Year/Pastoral Leaders preparing for interview. The resource provides a fictionalised set of data from a fictionalised year group, space to analyse the data yourself and to come up with your three priorities. This is the great way to practice your data analysis skills for interview from a pastoral perspective. This resource goes well with my other resources on raising attainment and analysing data as a pastoral leader. How to analyse data as Head of Year: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/how-to-analyse-data-pastoral-leader-interview-cpd-data-analysis-and-progress-achievement-12436735 How to raise attainment as Head of Year: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/how-to-raise-attainment-secure-progress-head-of-year-house-pastoral-role-interview-cpd-12425572 Please consider following me facebook.com/teachcoach

Head of Year Letter Bundle | Behaviour Uniform Homework Letters

In this resource, you will find 5 letter templates for use as Head of Year. These have been collated using my experience as Head of Year as well as having seen request for letter templates from new pastoral leaders. These are not from a specific school but have been edited and created for the purpose of sharing. This resource includes: 1 x behaviour warning letter 1 x bus/school transport warning letter 1 x lunch time behaviour warning letter 1 x homework letter 1 x uniform, equipment and late letter Please remember to always tailor letters to your context and to your community. I do not recommend simply copying these over and sending them out - they will need adjusting for your specific setting. They are intended to be a starting point. These are perfect for heads of year who are just beginning the role as well as experienced heads of year who do not want to reinvent the wheel. If you find these useful, please leave a review! TheTeachingCoachTheTeachingCoach

Behaviour Contract Bundle | Improving Monitoring | Head of Year and Pastoral Leaders

3 Resources
In this resource, you will find 2 behaviour contracts and a individual behaviour plan. The first contract is a student led, informal behaviour contract. This is to get students reflecting on their behaviour as a step prior to having a parental meeting. Students can complete this with their teacher, head of year or form tutor and it doesn’t need parents to be present. The second contract is parent-carer and student behaviour contract. This is a more formal contract which may be used when behaviour becomes more concerning and parent-carer is invited in for a formal meeting before further measures are put in place. This may form part of a behaviour panel and has space to be signed by parents to make the process more formal. This is detailed behaviour plan which is useful to reflect on triggers and plans for dealing with behaviour. It’s great for sharing with staff who teach the student with poor behaviour.
